Louisiana Fortify Homes Program Expands Round 5 to 1,500 Additional Registrants

The Louisiana Fortify Homes Program (LFHP) is expanding its most recent round of grant funding to an additional 1,500 homeowners who originally registered for a grant in September. LFHP staff sent emails to all 1,500 registrants on Thursday, Dec. 12, notifying them that they have been selected to participate and must complete the initial application by midnight on December 26.

Over 11,700 homeowners signed up for the lottery, which will award grants of up to $10,000 to homeowners who upgrade their roof to the stronger FORTIFIED standard.
