LDI and Rep. Lyons Conducting Town Hall Meeting on Storm Preparedness in Marrero
What: District 87 Town Hall Meeting on Storm Preparedness

The Louisiana Department of Insurance (LDI) and Rep. Rodney Lyons (District 87) are conducting a Town Hall Meeting to help constituents prepare for the upcoming hurricane season.
Trained specialists from LDI’s Office of Consumer Advocacy will provide information on:
- Homeowners insurance policy components, including coverage limits, exclusions and deductibles
- Practical storm preparedness advice to minimize and avoid risk
- Evacuation and loss of use
- Navigating the insurance claims process
- Filing a complaint with the LDI
