Office of Consumer Services
Policyholders with questions about insurance or who need help can contact the Office of Consumer Services. Our staff responds to consumer questions and also reports violations of rules, regulations or laws to the appropriate office. In 2019, the Office of Consumer Services recovered an additional $6.3 million for policyholders in addition to the original amounts offered to them by their insurance companies.
Created by the Louisiana Legislature in 2015, the Office of Consumer Services assists with consumer complaints and questions. The office also conducts market conduct analysis and examinations.
